Tune in to JACK FM and you’ll hear Patrick and Tommy over the next few weeks.

We were lucky enough to attend JACK FM on Monday in partnership with OAS to promote just how good OAS are and why we recruited Tommy as our 1st year apprentice.

It’s no secret there’s a shortage of skilled engineers in the UK, so it’s crucial for the industry to plug this gap.

And there’s no quick fix for this.

So that’s why here at Presto we decided to develop our team by recruiting Tommy in 2021 and enrolling him through OAS Apprenticeship Programme.

CNC machining to tight tolerances, setting automation and finishing to high end specifications are key areas that as a small business we require a skilled team to meet.

Fortunately OAS see this, so with a combination of on the job and classroom training over the next four years, Tommy will help us meet these requirements and gain an Apprenticeship at the same time.

We’re recruiting for the future – it’s as simple as that.
