CNC Turning of precision components

While CNC Turning is not our main focus it does allow us to take on complete projects and supply smaller items such as knobs, dials and bezels. This makes life easier for our customers and ensures that all components are finished to the same high standard.

Computer Numerical Control (CNC) Turning is a machining process used to make cylindrical parts, where the cutting tool moves in 2 axis while the work piece (or part) rotates. Performed with a lathe, CNC Turning reduces the diameter of a work piece to a specified dimension, and produces a smooth part finish. A CNC Turning Centre is a lathe with a computer numerical control.

Turning is carried out our 2 Axis slant bed Doosan Lynx 220 CNC lathe, which has a 50mm bar and 250mm diameter chucking capacity.
